Secunderabad to get cab services from IRCTC 

YatraGenie.com ties up with IRCTC for cab services

Bengaluru-based online bus ticketing and cab-booking platform, has partnered the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) to provide cab services to the latter's customers from the Secunderabad railway station.

Through this partnership, YatraGenie will become the primary cab services vendor for IRCTC and all cab bookings on IRCTC platform will now be routed to YatraGenie cab services, the company said in a statement on Monday.

"This tie-up fits right into our strategy of providing last-mile connectivity to our customers travelling from Tier-II towns to cities," said Renil Komitla, founder and chief executive officer of YatraGenie.

YatraGenie, which has raised an undisclosed amount in a Series-A round of funding from Silicon Valley-based entrepreneur and investor Ash Bhardwaj last month, currently serves more than 2,500 cab bookings everyday across 44 cities. It aims to expand to 100 cities by the end of 2015, the company said.
