Rail ID cards for Differently Abled: Thiruvananthapuram Division to organise 3-day Drive

Thiruvananthapuram: A three-day drive will be organised from November 11 in seven key railway stations under the Thiruvananthapuram railway division to collect applications for identity cards for the differently abled to obtain concessions during train journeys.

PH Contacts Rlys SRThe card will enable the beneficiaries to book railway tickets online and at counters with concession.

The drive will be organised at Nagercoil, Thiruvananthapuram Central, Kollam Junction, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam Junctionm and Thrissur railway stations from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Applications may be collected from Deputy Station Manager (Commercial), Chief Reservation/Booking Supervisors or Chief Commercial Inspectors of these stations during the time specified.

Applications should contain self-attested copies of certificate proving physical disability currently used for purchase of ticket (two copies), one copy each of photo ID proof, date of birth proof, address proof, two copies of passport size photographs, and telephone number for communication.
