Train Number and Mail/ Express Trains Changed To Super Fast Service

Mail/Express Trains Upgraded to Superfast Services

Four Mail/Express Trains are upgraded to will run as Superfast Trains. These trains will also be re-numbered as per the following:-

1.Train No. 16125 Chennai Egmore - Jodhpur will run as superfast express with effect from 1st October, 2016. This train will be re-numbered as Train No. 22663 with effect from 10th December, 2016.
2.Train No. 16126 Jodhpur - Chennai Egmore  will run as superfast express with effect from 3rd October, 2016. This train will be re-numbered as Train No. 22664 with effect from 12th December, 2016.
3.Train No. 15901 Bangalore-New Tinsukia Express will run as superfast express and will be re-numbered as Train No. 22501 with effect from 4thOctober, 2016. Accordingly, the train will depart Bangalore at 03:10 hrs on Tuesday (instead of 23:55 hrs on Monday) and arrive New Tinsukia at 20:45 hrs on Thursday (instead of 23:45 hrs on Thursday).
4.Train No. 15902 New Tinsukia - Bangalore Express will run as superfast express and will be re-numbered as Train No. 22502 with effect from 10thOctober, 2016. Accordingly, the train will depart New Tinsukia at 17:55 hrs on Friday (instead of 17:05 hrs on Friday) and arrive Bangalore at 11:30 hrs on Monday (instead of 11:50 hrs o­n Monday).

Revision of Train Number of Secunderabad – Visakhapatnam Special Trains

South Central Railway had announced the run of Special Trains between Secunderabad – Visakhapatnam and Tirupati – Visakhapatnam earlier (vide SCR Press Release Number. 352 dated. 24th August, 2015).  

The Numbering of Secunderabad – Visakhapatnam Special Train has been revised to Train No. 08500 Secunderabad – Visakhapatnam Weekly Special from Train No. 08502 notified earlier.

Accordingly,Train No. 08500 Secunderabad - Visakhapatnam Weekly Special Train will depart Secunderabad at 16:30 hrs on 14th, 21st & 28th October and 4th, 11th, 18th & 25th November, 2015 (Wednesdays) and arrive Visakhapatnam at 06:50 hrs on the next day.

In the opposite direction, Train No. 08501 Visakhapatnam - Secunderabad Weekly Special Train will depart Visakhapatnam at 23:00 hrs o­n 13th, 20th& 27th October and 3rd, 10th 17th& 24th November, 2015 (Tuesdays) and arrive Secunderabad at 12:00 hrs on the next day.

Enroute these special trains will stop at Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Tuni, Anakapalli and Duvvada stations in both the directions.

These special trains will have 20 coaches viz, o­ne AC II Tier, two AC III Tier, nine Sleeper Class, six General Second Seating and two Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches.
