335 RPSF Jawans take Oath of serving Nation
Hazaribagh: As many as 335 newly recruited jawans of RPSF (Railway Protection Special Force) took the oath to serve the nation in a passing out parade organised at Rani Laxmibai Parade Fround at BSF Training Centre and School, Meru, Hazaribagh on Monday. DGP Jharkhand, DK Pandey took the salute of the jawans in the passing out parade.
Addressing the new recruits the top police officer said they had completed their training and now would go to serve the country in railway. He expressed his expectations that the jawans would strengthen the internal security of the country. He stressed upon the need of giving priority to human values during service period. He further said the Central Government had formed the RPSF after the war of China. This organisation has won 852 Best service medals till now. It shows its important role in the protection of railway in the country.
All 335 newly recruits took part in the passing out parade after finishing 30 weeks of strenuous basic training under STC (Subsidiary Training Center) of BSF Meru. During the training, they had been educated in internal security duty, human rights, weapons, drills, intelligence, physical training, Map reading, legal aspects, communication, crime and safety.
Sallauddin Ansari was declared the Best Cadet. Suresh Kumar was given the award of Best in outdoor while Robin Kumar begged second position. Ram Kishore Kumar who led the parade was given Best in Drill award. The brass band party of BSF Meru charmed the gathering with their performance. On this occasion the commandant of BSF DIG PC Mishra, commandant of STC Ajit Kumar Tete and officers of local administration, BSF administration, family members of new recruits and employees of BSF Meru were present in large numbers.
