WEEKLY SPECIAL TRAIN BETWEEN NAGERCOIL AND KRISHNARAJAPURAM

Railways has decided to run weekly special train with special fare between Nagercoil and Krishnarajapuram to clear extra rush of passengers.

The Train No. 06023 Nagercoil - Krishnarajapuram weekly special departures from Nagercoil at 17.00 hrs on (Sundays) 18th and 25th September 2016 (two trips) and arrives Krishnarajapuram at 08.00 hrs on (Mondays) 19th and 26th September 2016.The train arrives/departures at Valliyur(17.33/17.35), Tirunelveli(18.15/18.20), Kovilpatti(19.18/19.20), Satur(19.43/19.45), Virudhunagar(20.15/20.17), Madurai(21.10/21.15), Dindigul(22.10/22.15), Tiruchchirappalli (23.45/00.15), Karur(01.30/01.35), Namakkal(02.03/02.05) and Salem(03.00/03.30).

The Train No. 06024 Krishnarajapuram- Nagercoil weekly special departures from Krishnarajapuram at 11.10 hrs on (Mondays) 19th and 26th September 2016 (two trips) and arrives Nagercoil at 02.45 hrs on (Tuesdays) 20th and 27th September 2016.The train arrives/departures at Salem (14.45/14.50), Namakkal (15.48/15.50), Karur (16.23/16.25), Tiruchchirappalli (17.45/18.00), Dindigul (19.30/19.35), Madurai(20.35/20.40), Virudhunagar (21.58/22.00), Satur (22.18/22.20), Kovilpatti (22.38/22.40), Tirunelveli (01.10/01.15) and Valliyur (01.43/01.45).

The weekly special will have 22 coaches comprising of One AC 2-tier sleeper coach Three AC 3-tier sleeper coaches, Thirteen Second class Sleeper coaches, Three General Second Class coaches and Two Luggages cum Break-vans.

DIVERSION OF YESVANTPUR- HOWRAH EXPRESS

On account of replacement of Route Relay Interlocking (RRI) at Vijayawada station the Train No. 12864 Yesvantpur-Howrah daily Express will be diverted for two days.The journey commencing on 21st and 22nd September from Yesvantpur at 19.35 hrs will be diverted through Dharmavaram, Gooty, Dronachellam, Kacheguda, Kazipet, Kondapalli, Vijayawada Bulb, Gunadala and Rajahmundry
