24 Special Trains between Howrah -Chennai Central & 24 Suvidha Special Trains between Howrah-Ernakulam

In order to clear extra rush of Passengers, special trains are being run between Howrah-Chennai Central and Howrah – Ernakulam as detailed below:-

1.Train No. 00841/00842 Howrah -Chennai Central- Howrah AC Superfast Summer Special Train (24 services):-

Train No. 00841 Howrah-Chennai Central Summer Special Train will depart Howrah at 12:40 hrs o­n 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30thApril, 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th May, 4th, 11th, 18th & 25th June, 2016 (Saturdays) arrive/depart Vijayawada at 07:50/08:00 hrs on Sunday and arrive Chennai Central at 15:05 hrs.   

In the return direction, Train No. 00842 Chennai Central Summer Special Train will depart Chennai Central at 17:10 hrs o­n 10th, 17th, 24th April, 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th May, 5th, 12th, 19th & 26thJune, 2016 (Sundays) arrive/depart Vijayawada at 23:45/23:55 hrs and arrive Howrah at 18:30 hrs o­n the next day.

Enroute this special train will stop at Kharagpur, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Rd, Brahmapur, Visakhapatnam, Duvvada, Rajahmundry and Nellore stations.

This special train will consist of 16 coaches viz.,  fourteen AC III Tier Class and two Power Car Coaches.

*All these special trains will run as Special Fare Trains.

2.Train No. 02853/02854 Howrah-Ernakulam-Howrah Superfast Suvidha Weekly special Trains (24 Services):-

Train No. 02853 Howrah - Ernakulam Superfast Suvidha Special Train will depart Howrah at 17:00 hrs o­n 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th April, 7th, 14th, 21st, 28thMay, 4th, 11th, 18th & 25thJune, 2016 (Saturdays) arrive/depart Vijayawada at 12:30/12:45 hrs o­n Sundays and arrive Ernakulam at 06:00 hrs o­n Mondays.

In the return direction, Train No. 02854 Ernakulam - Howrah Superfast Suvidha Special Train will depart Ernakulam at 08:50 hrs o­n 12th, 19th, 26th April, 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st May, 7th, 14th, 21st & 28th June, 2016 (Tuesday) arrive/depart Vijayawada at 02:30/02:45 hrs o­n Wednesdays and arrive Howrah at 23:00 hrs.

Enroute these Suvidha special trains will stop Kharagpur, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Bhubaneshwar, Khurda Road, Brahampur, Visakhapatnam, Rajahmundry, Eluru, o­ngole, Nellore, Renigunta, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Erode and Coimbatore  stations.

These special trains will consist of 19 coaches viz., o­ne AC II Tier, four AC III Tier, twelve   Sleeper Class and two Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches.
