Kolkata, January 25, 2016:

This will help to minimize the waiting period of the patients and make the process of registration for taking appointment from the super-specialty and multi-specialty hospitals of Eastern Railway hassle free. This has been introduced as per the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s flagship programme “Digital India” scheme.
In this system, any Railway beneficiary from any corner of India can easily register his/her name by using their AADHAAR Card number for getting appointment for consultation at B. R. Singh Hospital, Sealdah and Howrah Orthopaedic Hospital of Eastern Railway.
