SCIENCE EXPRESS CLIMATE ACTION SPECIAL EXHIBITION TRAIN

 Science Express Climate Action Special (SECAS) is a collaborative initiative of Department of Science & Technology (DST), Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change (MoEFCC) and Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Govt. of India, coordinated by Vikram A Sarabhai Community Science Centre (VASCSC).It is a unique science exhibition focusing o­n climate change, mounted o­n a customized 16 coach AC train.

With over 1.35 crore visitors at its 406 halts since its launch in October, 2007,Science Express is now the largest, longest running and most visited mobile science exhibition.In its current phase from 15 Oct 2015 to 07 May 2016.SECAS will travel to 64 locations across India.The state-of-the-art exhibition aboard the SECAS aims to create awareness about the climate change and similar issues among students, teachers and the general public.

SECAS will reach Pragati Maidan Railway Station (Delhi) o­n 06 December, 2015 upto 08 December, 2015. TheExhibition Timing will be 10.00 a.m,.– 5.00 p;.m.
