Trains Cancelled/Diversion of Trains - Northern Railway

EXTENSION OF 48 DAYS TRAFFIC BLOCK FOR REPLACEMENT OF BROKEN WASHABLE APRON OF PF NO. 2 AT VARANASI

As per earlier announcement, following trains were either cancelled partially or diverted for replacement work of broken washable apron of Platform No. 2 at Varanasi railway station for 48 days i.e. from 04.09.15 to 21.10.2015.

Now it has been decided to extend the block for two days i.e. 22.10.15 & 23.10.15 for completion of work. As a result there will be traffic block during the period of work and the following trains will either be short terminated at/short originate from (partially cancelled) or diverted temporarily upto 23.10.2015 as under:-

TRAINS PARTILLY CANCELLED DURING TRAFFIC BLOCK  on 22.10.15 & 23.10.15

1.The 13346/13345 Singrauli-Varanasi- Singrauli Express train will be short terminated at/ originated from Kashi and remain partially cancelled between Kashi-Varanasi-Kashi.

2. The 55149 Gorakhpur-Manduadih Passenger train will be short terminated at Varanasi City and remain partially cancelled between Varanasi City-Manduadih.

3.The 55132 Manduadih-Chhapra Passenger train will short originate from Varanasi City and remain partially cancelled between Manduadih-Varanasi City

4.The. 55119 Gorakhpur-Varanasi Passenger train will be short terminated at Varanasi City and remain partially cancelled between Varanasi City-Varanasi.

DIVERSION OF TRAINS on 22.10.15 & 23.10.15

• Train No.11081/11082 Lokmanya Tilak T.-Gorakhpur Express, 18201/18202 Durg-Nautanva Express,
• Train No.15021/15022 Gorakhpur-Shalimar Express and 
• Train No.19051/19052 Valshad-Muzaffarpur Shramik express trains will be diverted to run via Jaunpur-Lucknow during the period of traffic block.
