Temporary Increase in Platform Ticket Rate at Secunderabad Station to Regulate Flow of People

In view of the ensuing Dasara festival and vacations for schools in Telangana State, it is expected that Secunderabad Railway Station will witness additional foot falls of rail travelers as well as non-travellers, leading to huge crowd o­n the platforms during the period.

With a view to avoid inconvenience to the travelling public and to ensure decongestion of platforms, the rate of platform ticket o­nly at Secunderabad Railway Station will be enhanced from present Rs. 10/- to Rs. 20/- for a period of ten days i.e. from 17th October to 26th October, 2015.
