MEGA BLOCK on 30.08.2015
Central Railway will operate Mega Block on its suburban sections for carrying out maintenance work on 30.08.2015: -
MAIN LINE: -
MATUNGA-MULUND DN FAST LINE FROM 10.45 AM TO 3.15 PM
All Dn fast services leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Mumbai from 10.08 am to 2.54 pm will be diverted on Dn slow line between Matunga and Mulund stations halting at all stations between Sion and Mulund and further diverted on Dn fast line from Thane. These services will arrive destination 20 minutes behind schedule.
All Up fast services leaving Thane from 10.46 am to 3.28 pm will halt at Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar and Kurla stations in addition to their respective scheduled halts and will arrive destination 15 minutes behind schedule.
All slow services arriving and leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Mumbai between 11.00 am and 5.00 pm will arrive destination 10 minutes behind schedule.
Dn Mail/Express trains leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus and Dadar will be diverted on DN slow line between Matunga and Mulund station during block period.
HARBOUR LINE:
PANVEL-NERUL UP AND DN HARBOUR LINES FROM 11.00 AM TO 3.00 PM
Up Harbour line services towards Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Mumbai leaving Panvel from 10.43 am to 3.27 pm will remain suspended between Panvel and Nerul and Dn Harbour line services to Panvel leaving Nerul from 10.41 am to 3.17 pm will remain suspended between Nerul and Panvel.
Up Trans-Harbour line services towards Thane leaving Panvel from 11.05 am to 3.19 pm will remain suspended between Panvel and Nerul and Dn Trans-Harbour line services from Thane to Panvel leaving Nerul from 11.42 am to 2.48 pm will remain suspended between Nerul and Panvel.
Panvel - Andheri services will remain cancelled during the block. However, special local trains will run on Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Mumbai- Nerul and Thane - Nerul sections during the block period.
Due to these blocks, suburban trains are likely to be more crowded than usual. Passengers are requested not to take any risks while traveling. They are also requested to avoid traveling on footboard, rooftop of locals and not to board extremely over crowded trains. Passengers are requested to bear with the Railway Administration for the inconvenience
caused.
