Special Trains from Mumbai to Pune to clear extra rush - Central Railway

MUMBAI: The railways will run four special trains to clear the rush of commuters stranded at Mumbai and Pune due to the landslide on Expressway on Sunday. 

Said a railway spokesperson : "Road Traffic was disrupted due to the landslide near Adhoshi tunnel on Mumbai-Pune highway in the afternoon. As directed by union railway minister Suresh Prabhu , the Central Railway will be running special trains between Mumbai and Pune on Sunday to clear the passenger rush.

"Two special trains will be leaving at 8 pm from Mumbai and Pune respectively," he stated.

The railways will run two more special train services between Mumbai and Pune in wee hours of Monday. Officials said that the second Special train will depart from Pune station around 2.15 am and arrive Mumbai CST at 5.45 am. Similarly, a second special train from CST will leave at 12 midnight and arrive Pune at 4 am on Monday.
