No Day Block on W. Rly this Sunday WR'S NIGHT BLOCK BETWEEN MUMBAI CENTRAL AND MAHIM

A jumbo block will be taken from 23.45 hrs to 04.45 hrs on Down slow line and from 01.45 hrs to 04.15 hrs on Up slow line during the night falling between Saturday, 02nd May,2015 & Sunday,03rdMay,2015 between Mumbai Central and Mahim for maintenance of track, signaling and overhead equipments. Therefore, there will not be any day block on this Sunday, 03rd May,2015 on Western Railway’s suburban section.

During the block all down slow line trains will be worked o­n down fast line between Churchgate and Mahim stations. These diverted trains will not halt at Mahalaxmi, Elphinstone Road and Matunga Road for want of platform, hence passenger are allowed to travel in opposite direction for their destinations between Bandra and Mumbai Central stations.

All 12 car slow local trains will take double halt at Lower Parel and Mahim Jn. Last up local VR 91182 will be detained at Mahim Jn up to arrival of last down local BVI 91241 to facilitate passengers of Matunga Road, Elphinstone Road and Mahalaxmi stations.

Due to the block, some of the up & down local trains will remain cancelled.
