Mega Block on 25.10.2020 (Sunday)
Central Railway, Mumbai Division will operate Mega Block on its suburban sections for carrying out various engineering and maintenance works on Sunday 25.10.2020.
Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus and Vidyavihar Up and Dn slow lines from 10.00 am to 3.00 pm
Dn slow services leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus from 09.30 hrs to 2.56 hrs will be diverted on Dn fast line between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus and Vidyavihar stations, halting at Byculla, Parel, Dadar, Matunga, Sion & Kurla and further rediverted on Dn slow line at Vidyavihar station.
Up slow services leaving Ghatkopar from 9.38 am to 2.48 pm will be diverted on Up fast line between Vidyavihar and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus halting at Kurla, Sion, Matunga, Dadar, Parel and Byculla.
Slow line services will not available at Masjid, Sandhurst Road, Chinchpokli, Curry Road and Vidyavihar. Passengers of these stations are allowed to travel via Parel, Dadar, Kurla and Ghatkopar stations.
All slow locals arriving & leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus between 10.00 am to 4.00 pm will arrive destination 10 minutes behind schedule during block period..
Panvel-Vashi on Up and Dn lines from 11.05 am to 4.05 pm
Up Harbour line services towards Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai leaving Panvel/Belapur from 10.33 am to 4.01 pm will remain suspended.
Dn Harbour line services to Belapur/Panvel leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai from 9.44 am to 3.16 pm will remain suspended.
Up Trans-Harbour line service towards Thane leaving Panvel at 2.24 pm and Dn Trans-Harbour line services to Panvel leaving Thane at 1.24 pm will remain suspended
However, special trains will run on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus-Vashi section and Thane-Vashi section on Trans-Harbour line during the block period.
These maintenance mega blocks are essential for infrastructure upkeep and safety. Passengers are requested to bear with the Railway Administration for the inconvenience caused.
