Temporary Short Termination/Short Origination of Trains due to 36 days Traffic Block for Construction of washable apron on platform No.1 at Chandigarh Station .

In order to strengthen the infrastructure of Railway and to enhance safety standards, Ambala division of Northern Railway shall take 36 days traffic block for construction of washable apron o­n platform No.1 at Chandigarh Station. Consequently the following trainswill be Short Terminated/Short Originate as under:· The 19717 Jaipur-Chandigarh express & 15011 Lucknow Jn.-Chandigarh express train journey commencing from 14.12.2018 to 18.1.2019 willbe short terminated at Ambala Cantt.. Consequently, the  19718 Chandigarh - Jaipur Intercity express & 15012 Chandigarh - Lucknow Jn. express trainjourney commencing from 15.12.2018 to 19.1.2019 willshort originate from Ambala Cantt.. These trains will remain partially cancelled between Ambala Cantt.-Chandigarh-Ambala Cantt.. ·The 14613/14614 Chandigarh – Firozpur- Chandigarhexpress trainjourney commencing from 15.12.2018 to 19.1.2019willbe shortterminatedat / short originate from Sahibzada Ajitsingh Nagar and remain partially cancelled between Sahibzada Ajitsingh Nagar - Chandigarh - Sahibzada Ajitsingh Nagar.· The 12527/12528Ramnagar -Chandigarh – RamnagarSuperfast express trainjourney commencing o­n17.12.2018, 24.12.2018 , 31.12.2018 , 07.1.2019& 14.1.2019willbe shortterminatedat / short originate from Saharanpur and remain partially cancelled between Saharanpur-Chandigarh- Saharanpur.
