PURI-DURG EXPRESS TO BE CANCELLED FOR FIVE DAYS:

Due to safety related modernisation work in connection with commissioning of 3rdline between Durg and Rasmara Stations under South East Central jurisdiction (Howrah-Mumbai Main Line), train services have been affected resulting in cancellation of a few trains from and through East Coast Railway jurisdiction.

As a result, 18211/18212 Durg-Jagadalpur-Durg Express via Raipur-Titilagarh will be cancelled on 9th, 11thand 14thMay 2017 from Durg and on 10th, 12th& 15thMay 2017 from Jagadalpur will remain cancelled.

Similarly, 18425/18426 Puri-Durg-Puri Express scheduled to leave Puri from 10thto 14thMay 2017 and scheduled to leave Durg from 11thto 15thMay 2017 will remain cancelled.

These apart, for similar work in connection with construction of Limited Height Subways (LHSs) in Dhanmandal-Barithengada-Byree Stations in Jajpur-Cuttack Railway Section, traffic cum power block have been taken from 0550hrs to 1020hrs on 7thMay 2017 resulting in cancellation, rescheduling & controlling of a few trains.

58407 Bhadrak-Cuttack Passenger, 58411/58412 Bhubaneswar-Brahmapur-Bhubaneswar passenger & 58424/58423 Cuttack-Bhadrak-Cuttack passenger will remain cancelled on 7thMay 2017.

22502 New Tinsukia-Chennai Express scheduled to leave New Tinsukia on 5thMay 2017, 12074 Bhubaneswar-Howrah Jan Shatabdi Express, 12278 Puri-Howrah Shatabdi Express, 18416 Puri-Barbil & 18414 Puri-Paradeep Express scheduled to leave Puri on 7thMay 2017 will be rescheduled.

Apart from this, 12891 Barbil-Bhubaneswar Inter City, 12816 New Delhi-Puri Nandankanan, 18646 Hyderabad-Howrah East Coast Express and 58425 Kendujhargarh-Bhubaneswar Passenger will be controlled enroute for sometimes on 7thMay 2017.

Railways have appealed the passengers to co-operate for this safety related modernisation work.
