Kerala PKMM School introduces healthcare scheme

PKMM Higher Secondary School, Edarikode, one of the largest schools in the State, has introduced a healthcare scheme for its students and parents in association with Aster Mims, Kottakkal.

More than 7,000 children and their parents will benefit from the Arogya Sparsham scheme, by which Aster Mims will offer its healthcare facilities at reduced rates.

Aster Mims chief executive officer V.P. Jasir inaugurated the scheme at a function held at the school. He said the scheme would be introduced in other schools in the district.

Former Education Minister P.K. Abdu Rabb inaugurated the distribution of Arogya Sparsham health cards. Hari P.S., Aster Mims medical service deputy chief, explained the benefits of healthcare scheme.

School manager P.K. Mohammed Basheer, Principal Mohammed Shafi, Headmaster Kuriakose, and parent-teacher association president Jaleel Manammal spoke.
