1.Suvidha special train from Tuticorin to Chennai Egmore

Train No.82606 Tuticorin – Chennai Egmore Suvidha special train will leave Tuticorin at 18.20 hrs. on 26thFebruary, 2017 and reach Chennai Egmore at 07.20 hrs. the next day.

Composition:AC 2-tier – 1, AC 3-tier – 3, Sleeper Class – 13, General Second Class – 2 & Luggage-cum-brake van – 2 coaches.

Stoppages:Virudhunagar, Madurai, Dindigul, Tiruchchirappalli, Thanjavur, Kumbakonam, Mayiladuthurai, Chidambaram, Tiruppadiripuliyur, Villupuram, Chengalpattu and Tambaram.

2.Special fare special train from Chennai Central to Madurai

Southern Railway is running a Bharat Darshan Special Train from Madurai to Ujjain Jn. (in the state of Madhya Pradesh) and back, organised by the South Zone of IRCTC.  Four Sleeper Class coaches of this special train will be available for booking through PRS centres.  The round trip is classified into different legs i.e. Madurai to Chennai Central, Chennai Central to Kurnool City, Kurnool City to Parli Vaijnath and so on.

The final leg of the special train – from Chennai Central to Madurai - will be available for reservations by the public as detailed below. 

Special fare special train from Chennai Central to Madurai

Train No.06932 Chennai Central – Madurai special fare special train will leave Chennai Central at 05.00 hrs. on 26.02.2017 and reach Madurai at 16.30 hrs. the same day.

Stoppages:  Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Karur and Dindigul.

Advance reservations for the above trains will commence on 16.02.2017.
