Goods Train derailment at Wihirgaon station on Kazipet – Balharshah Section.

A Coal laden Goods Train proceeding towards Balharshah derailed at Wihirgaon station on Kazipet – Balharshah section, about 30 kms before Balharshah station on South Central Railway at around 01.00 hrs today i.e., 6th January, 2017. Train services in the section have been affected in both Up and Down directions.

With a view to provide information on train movements to the travelling public, In addition to various stations intimated earlier vide SCR PR No. 672 (Bulletin No.2), Helpline Number has been set up at Vijayawada Railway Station as follows:-

Today i.e., 6th January, 2017

In view of derailment of Goods Trains at Wihirgaon station on Kazipet – Balharshah section, Train No. 12723 Hyderabad – New Delhi Telangana Express scheduled to depart today i.e., 6th January, 2017 is cancelled.

Trains Cancelled / Partially Cancelled / Diverted Due to Derailment of Goods Train

In view of derailment of Goods Trains at Wihirgaon station on Kazipet – Balharshah section, the following trains are cancelled / partially cancelled / diverted as detailed below:-

I) Trains Cancelled:-

1) Train No. 12723 Hyderabad – New Delhi Telangana Express scheduled to depart Hyderabad today i.e., 06.01.2017 is cancelled.

2) Train No. 12724 New Delhi – Hyderabad Telangana Express scheduled to depart New Delhi tomorrow i.e., 07.01.2017 is cancelled.

3) Train No. 57121 Kazipet – Balharshah Passenger scheduled to depart Kazipet on 06.01.20147 is cancelled.

II) Trains Partially Cancelled:-

1) Train No. 57136 Kazipet – Ajni Passenger which left Kazipet on 05.01.2017 is partially cancelled between Sirpurkagaznagar – Ajni.

2) Train No. 57135 Ajni - Kazipet Passenger which left Ajni on 05.01.2017 is partially cancelled between Chandrapur and Kazipet.

3) Train No. 57124 Balharshah – Bhadrachalam Road Passenger scheduled to depart Balharshah on 06.01.2017 is partially cancelled between Balharshah and Warangal.

III) Trains Diverted:-

Trains diverted via Nizamabad, Mudkhed, H.S. Nanded, Purna, Akola:-

1) Train No. 15024 Yesvantpur – Gorakhpur Express of 05.01.2017
