PRESS NOTE

It is proposed to engage 237 candidates as Act Apprentices for the year 2015-16 at Central Workshops, Southern Railway, Golden Rock, Trichy – 620 004, in the trades of Fitter, Welder, Machinist, Electrician, Diesel Mechanic, Mechanic Refrigeration & Air Conditioner, Electronics Mechanic and programming / System Administration Assistant. 

• The candidates should have the qualification of Matriculation /ITI.  The candidates should be in the age group 15 to 24,
• The candidates should apply in the prescribed application which can be downloaded inthe website:www.sr.infisntsilesyd.gov.in->News&Updates->News&Announcements->Goldenrock Workshop.  
• The candidates are eligible for stipend as prescribed under the Apprentices Act. 
• The selection is on the basis of merit list prepared based o­n the marks secured in the X and ITI in respect of all the candidates who apply against the notification. 
• The filled in applications along with the processing fee of Rs.100/- (except SC/ST/PWD/Women candidates) should reach The Workshop Personnel Officer, Central Workshops, Southern Railway, Ponmalai,  Trichy -620 004 on or before 25.05.2016.
