SOUTH EASTERN RAILWAY TO RUN FOUR PAIRS EACH OF HOWRAH-  ERNAKULAM SUPERFAST SUVIDHA SPECIAL & SHALIMAR-SECUNDERABAD SPECIAL

Kolkata, 11th February, 2016:

            To clear extra rush of passengers during o­n-going winter, South Eastern Railway  has decided to run four pairs of Superfast Suvidha Special Trains between Howrah and Ernakulam and four pairs of Special Trains between Shalimar and Secunderabad. Howrah-Ernakulam Superfast Suvidha Special will leave Howrah every Saturday during the period from 13.02.16 to 05.03.16 and will leave Ernakulam every Tuesday from 16.02.16 to 08.03.16.  Shalimar-Secunderabad Special will leave Shalimar every Sunday during the period from 14.02.16 to 06.03.16 and will leave Secunderabad every Monday from 15.02.2016 to 07.03.2016

HOWRAH-ERNAKULAM-HOWRAH SUPERFAST SUVIDHA SPECIAL (02853/02854)

            The Howrah-Ernakulam-Howrah Suvidha Special leaving Howrah o­n Saturday at 17:00 hours will reach Ernakulam at 06:00 hours o­n Monday. In the return direction, the train leaving Ernakulam at 08:50 hours o­n Tuesday will arrive Howrah at 23:00 hours o­n Wednesday. The Suvidha Special consisting of 19 coaches (AC 3 Tier-4, AC 2 Tier -1, Sleeper Class-12 and Luggage Van-2) will have stoppages at Kharagpur, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road,  Brahmapur, Visakhapatnam, Rajahmundry, Eluru, Vijayawada, o­ngole, Nellore, Renigunta, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Erode and Coimbatore enroute and in the return direction the train will also stop at Aluva, Thrisur and Palakkad.

SHALIMAR-SECUNDERABAD-SHALIMAR SPECIAL (00849/00850)

            The Shalimar-Secunderabad-Shalimar Special leaving Shalimar o­n Sunday at 12:10 hours will reach Secunderabad at 15:00 hours o­n Monday. In the return direction, the train leaving Secunderabad at 21:40 hours o­n Monday will arrive Shalimar at 03:00 hours o­n Wednesday. The  Special consisting of 18 coaches (AC 2 Tier-1, AC 3 Tier -1, Sleeper Class-6, General 2nd Class-8 & Luggage Van-2) will have stoppages at Santragachi, Kharagpur, Balasore Bhadrak, Jajpur Keonjhar Road  Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road,  Brahmapur, Vizianagram, Visakhapatnam, Duvvada, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Eluru, Vijayawada, Khammam, Warangal, and Kazipet stations enroute.
