SPECIAL TRAINS

The following special trains will be run to clear the extra rush of traffic in view of Christmas and New Year festivals.

Special trains between Rameswaram – Chengalpattu (via Karaikkudi, Tiruchchirappalli & Vriddhachalam)

• Train No.06138 Rameswaram – Chengalpattu special train will leave Rameswaram at 14.30 hrs. o­n 23.12.2015, 28.12.2015 & 30.12.2015 and reach Chengalpattu at 03.00 hrs. the next day.
• Train No.06139 Chengalpattu – Rameswaram special train will leave Chengalpattu at 14.00 hrs. o­n 24.12.2015, 29.12.2015 & 31.12.2015 and reach Rameswaram at 02.00 hrs. the next day.

Composition:  Sleeper Class – 5, Second Class Chair Car – 2, General Second Class – 9 & Luggage-cum-brake van – 2 coaches.

Stoppages:Ramanathapuram, Paramakkudi, Manamadurai, Sivaganga, Devakottai Road, Karaikkudi, Pudukkottai, Tiruchchirappalli, Vriddhachalam, Villupuram and Melmaruvathur.

Advance reservations for the above trains will commence on 19.12.2015.
