Sub: Grant of MACP 

Ref: OFB Circular no. 01/CR/A/I/658 dated 17th  Feb 2014.

Vide above quoted circular it was intimated that as per MOD ID No. 11(5)/2009-D(CIv-4)

dated 6th Feb 2014, all HS/MCM worders drawing salary in the pay scale of Rs.5000-8000 up to 31-12-2005 under ACPS are eligblefpr GP of Rs 4600/ under 3rd MACP.

In continuation, a reference was made before MOD for considering the Grade pay of Rs. 4600 under 3rd MACP in respect of  HS/MCM who were granted ACP OF Rs 5000-8000 (revised pay band 2+ GP Rs 4200/) BETWEEN 1-4-2006 & 31-08-2008 and MCM who were in pay scale of Rs 4500-7000 as on 31-1d2-2005.

In this connection MOD vide ID No. 14(5)/2009-D(CIv-1) (PC-1) dated 26th Aug 2015 has intimated that matter was taken up with DOPT. However DOP&T have not agreed to the proposal. A copy of above quoted MOD ID along with the clarificaton furnished by DOP&T in the case of Grant of 3rd financial Upgradation under MACP Scheme to MCM in the GP of Rs 4600/ is also enclosed please.

Further to above, it is stated that OFB vide circular no. Per/1/01/ CR/658 dated 10-7-2015 has already given directive to factories to consider MCM who were in pay scale  of Rs 4500-7000 as on 31-12-2005 for 3rd MACP in the form of 3% increment benefit on the GP of Rs.4200/.
