EASTERN RAILWAY TO RUN 14 PAIRS OF MIDNIGHT SPECIAL EMU TRAINS DURING DURGA PUJA

Kolkata, October 13, 2015:

To cope with the expected rush of passengers during Durga Puja Holidays Eastern Railway will run 14 pairs of Night Special Suburban Trains in different sections over Sealdah & Howrah divisions.

In Sealdah division , 10 pairs of Special Trains will ply in the nights of Panchami/Shasti (18/19.10.2015), Shasti/Saptami (19/20.10.2015), Saptami/Astami (20/21.10.2015), Astami/Navami & Dashami (21/22.10.2015) & Vijaya Dashami (22/23.10.2015) o­n Sealdah-Ranaghat, Sealdah-Bangaon, Sealdah-Dankuni, Ranaghat-Bangaon, Sealdah(South)-Baruipur, Sealdah(South)-Budge Budge & Sealdah-Naihati sections.

Moreover, on Saptami (20.10.2015), Astami (21.10.2015), Navami/Dashami (22.10.2015) & Lakshmi Puja (26.10.2015), EMU locals of Sealdah division will run following Sunday schedule upto 14:00 hrs. and after 14:00 hrs. EMU locals will run as per regular weekday schedule.

In Howrah division, 4 pairs of Special Trains will run in the nights of Saptami/Astami (20/21.10.2015), Astami/Navami (21/22.10.2015) & Navami/Dashami (22/23.10.2015) on Howrah-Bandel, Howrah-Barddhaman (Main & Chord), Sheoraphuli-Tarakeswar sections.

Moreover, o­n Saptami (20.10.2015), Astami (21.10.2015), Navami/Dashami (22.10.2015) & Lakshmi Puja (26.10.2015), EMU locals of Howrah division will run following Sunday schedule upto 15:00 hrs. and after 15:00 hrs. EMU locals will run as per regular weekday schedule.
