Odisha to sign MoU with Railway Ministry for much-awaited Jeypore-Nabarangpur, Jeypore-Malkangiri railway projects

Bhubaneswar (BBS): The much-awaited Jeypore-Nabarangpur, Jeypore-Malkangiri railway project is expected to gain memento as the state government will sign a MoU with the railway ministry said Nabarangpur MP Balabhadra Majhi. The desire to do something for the people was always there in my mind. Fortunately I got an opportunity to do so. I will deliver the maximum for the people of my constituency  Railway link, Electricity,Transportation, Education and overall infrastructure development will be given more priority Majhi added. Here it may note that the new BJD MP of Nabarangpur Er.Balabhadra Majhi, who was an engineer with Indian Railways, had made the issue his poll plank during campaigning for the General Elections. To ensure rail connectivity in tribe-dominated districts, the state government has announced it would bear 50% of the construction cost along with free land for the Jeypore-Nabarangpur line and 25% of the construction cost for the Jeypore-Malkangiri line for creating railway infrastructure.
