WESTERN RAILWAY PROVIDES FACILITY OF FOOD ON BERTH THROUGH E-CATERING AT NOMINATED STATIONS & LISTED TRAINS

For the convenience of passengers, provision of getting meals through e catering has been made o­n Western Railway by IRCTC (Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation) in three pairs of trains and also at three stations viz. Vapi, Bharuch and Vadodara o­n Mumbai-Delhi route with multiple options to book food in nominated trains.

The facility of e-catering has been provided as pilot project by IRCTC in 

19023/19024 Mumbai Central-Firozpur Janta Express, 

22917/22918 Bandra (T)-Haridwar Express and 

12993/12994 Gandhidham-Puri Express. 

Besides Pizza can also be provided to the passengers in the train at Vapi, Bharuch and Vadodara stations o­n order.  

For this purpose a toll free number has been provided by IRCTC which is 1800-1034-139. 

The meals can also be booked through eight Call Centre lines i.e. 0120-4383892-99 which will be charged calls.

The facility of getting meals from the food plazas at various stations can also be availed by the passengers to get meals o­n their berths at these stations through the above said numbers. At present, there are 9 food plazas o­n Western Railway at Mumbai Central, Surat, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Mahesana, Rajkot, Maninagar, Nagda & Ujjain.

Besides the above said numbers, the meals as above can also be booked through IRCTC website or by downloading the IRCTC E-catering Mobile Application.
