Coupon Validating Machines to be Discontinued From 1ST APRIL 2015
Ministry of Railways have decided to discontinue the Coupon Validating Machines (CVMs) with effect from 1st April 2015. Accordingly, sale of CVM coupons will be discontinued w.e.f 1/4/2015.
However, the CVM coupons available with the commuters may be continued for a period of one month by stamping on the coupons.
Commuters are requested to use ATVMs and Mobile ticketing to purchase suburban tickets for better convenience.
