New Weekly Express introduced between Mannargudi – Bhagat Ki Kothi (Jodhpur) from 9.2.2015

A new weekly express train service between Mannargudi – Bhagat Ki Kothi (Jodhpur), announced in the Railway Budget 2014-15, is to be introduced. Shri Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu, Hon’ble Union Minister of Railways, will inaugurate Train No.06864, the inaugural special train of Mannargudi – Bhagat Ki Kothi (Jodhpur) express by remote flagging from New Delhi o­n 09.02.2015, Monday.

Inaugural special train

Train No.06864, the inaugural special train from Mannargudi to Bhagat Ki Kothi, will leave Mannargudi at 18.00 hrs. o­n 09.02.2015, Monday and reach Bhagat Ki Kothi at 23.45 hrs. o­n Wednesday.

The inaugural special train will stop at Thiruvarur, Mayiladuthurai, Chidambaram, Tiruppadirippuliyur, Villupuram, Chengalpattu, Tambaram, Chennai Egmore, Sulurpeta, Gudur, Nellore, o­ngole, Chirala, Tenali, Vijayawada, Khammam, Warangal, Peddappalli, Ramgundam, Sirpur Kaghaznagar, Balharshah, Nagpur, Itarsi, Habibganj, Bhopal, Shujalpur, Ujjain, Nagda, Bhawani Mandi, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Durgapura, Jaipur, Phulera Jn., Makrana Jn., Degana Jn., Merta Road Jn., Gotan, Rai-Ka-Bagh Palace Jn. and Jodhpur.

Regular services

The regular service of Train No.16863 Bhagat-Ki-Kothi (Jodhpur) – Mannargudi weekly express will commence ex. Bhagat-Ki-Kothi o­n 12.02.2015, Thursday and that of Train No.16864 Mannargudi – Bhagat-Ki-Kothi (Jodhpur) weekly express will commence ex. Mannargudi o­n 16.02.2015, Monday.

Train No.16863 Bhagat-Ki-Kothi (Jodhpur) – Mannargudi weekly express will leave Bhagat-Ki-Kothi at 15.00 hrs. o­n Thursdays and reach Mannargudi at 18.00 hrs. o­n Saturdays.

Train No.16864 Mannargudi – Bhagat-Ki-Kothi (Jodhpur) weekly express will leave Mannargudi at 11.30 hrs. o­n Mondays and reach Bhagat-Ki-Kothi at 18.00 hrs. o­n Wednesdays.

The composition of the trains will be 1 AC 2-tier, 1 AC 3-tier, 6 Sleeper class, 6 general second class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches with accommodation for the differently abled.
