SPECIAL TRAINS & TEMPORARY AUGMENTATION OF TRAINS

The following special trains will be run to clear the extra rush of traffic.

1) PREMIUM superfast special train between Chennai Central –Coimbatore .

Train No.00609 Chennai Central –Coimbatore PREMIUM superfast special train will leave Chennai Central at 21.50 hrs. o­n 13.01.2015,&14.01.2015 and arrive Coimbatore  at 05.10 hrs.  the next day.The   train  will stop  at Katpadi,Jolarpettai,Salem,Erode &Tiruppur.

 2)Super fast Day  special train between  Coimbatore – Chennai Central.

Train No.06017 Coimbatore – Chennai Central Super fast Day  special train will leave Coimbatore  at 09.20 hrs. o­n 14.01.2015 & 15.01.2015  and arrive Chennai Central  at 17.35 hrs. o­n the same day. The train  will stop at Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Bommidi, Morappur, Jolarpettai, Vaniyambadi,Ambur,Katpadi,Arakkonam & Perambur.

The composition of the above trains will be 3 AC 2-tier ,2 AC 3-tier,1 AC Chair Car 14 sleeper class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches.

Advance reservation  for above trains  will commence o­n 08-01-2015.

TEMPORARY AUGMENTATION OF TRAINS

The following trains will be temporarily augmented as explained below to clear the extra rush of traffic. 

Train No.22651/22652 Chennai Central-Palani-Chennai Central expresses will be temporarily augmented by 1 Sleeper Class ex.Chennai Central from 09.01.2015 to 17.01.2015 and ex. Palani from 10.01.2015 to 18.01.2015.

Train No. 16183/16184 Chennai Egmore – Thanjavur-Chennai  Egmore Uzhavan expresses will be temporarily augmented by 2 Sleeper Class ex.Chennai Egmore from 09.01.2015 to 17.01.2015 and ex. Thanjavurfrom 10.01.2015 to 18.01.2015.
