FOUR PAIRS OF TRAINS COMMENCE SERVICES

PARTIALLY BETWEEN SRINAGAR AND BARAMULLA IN KASHMIR VALLEY REGION TODAY

With the Railway swinging into night-and-day restorative activity of rail tracks in the flood affected regions in the State of Jammu & Kashmir, the Railway has been able to restore the DEMU train services in the Kashmir Valley region partially today(15.09.2014) . Four pairs of DEMU trains shall service between Srinagar and Baramulla.

The first train service commenced from Badgam at 12.00 noon today to Baramulla and its return service to Srinagar will commence consequentially thereon. Efforts are in full swing to restore the rail traffic in the remaining parts of the Kashmir Valley region.
