Ceremonial Parade of Railway Engineers Regiment (Territorial Army) Annual Training Camp held

The first annual training camp ceremonial parade of the 1105 Railway Engineers Regiment (Territorial Army) was held today at its premises, Moula Ali, Hyderabad. 2 officers, 4 junior commissioned officers, 94 other ranks and o­ne recruit have successfully completed the training. Territorial Army personnel comprising platoons of Head Quarters, Locomotive, Operating and new recruits consisting of Railway officers, employees from South Central Railway (SCR), South Western Railway (SWR) and Southern Railway participated in the parade. The camp is being conducted from 4th July, 2014 to 6th August, 2014.

Speaking o­n the occasion, Shri P.K.Srivastava, General Manager, congratulated the platoons o­n their successful completion of training and expressed happiness over their impressive performance. He exhorted the Territorial Army personnel to be alert always to respond to any exigency call, situations such as war and internal emergency etc. Further, he also made an appeal to maintain high level of discipline in discharging responsibilities.

Shri P.K. Srivastava, inspected the parade and received the guard of honour. Shri Gajanan Mallya, Senior Deputy General Manager, Shri Rakesh Aron, Divisional Railway Manager, Hyderabad Division and senior Railway Officials were amongst those present. The ceremonial parade culminated with well turned out parade followed by impressive band display of Army personnel.
