Palakkad division promotes PARK scheme ahead of Onam
MANGALORE: Anand Prakash, divisional railway manager, Palakkad convened a meeting with potential advertisers and commercial publicity canvassers in the railway divisional office on Friday. As a move to promote Premium Advertisement on Railways in Kerala (PARK), Anand Prakash appealed the advertisers to make use of the approaching Onam festival through display of advertisements at major stations at rates basic rates.
P A Dhananjayan, senior divisional commercial manager explaining various schemes available for canvassers implored interested parties to contact the deputy station managers (commercial) or approved agencies for joining hands with Railways to celebrate Onam this year. Since huge number of trains passengers are likely to be at these stations to travel during Onam season, Railway proposes to decorate station premises to provide an aesthetic appearance aiming to attract attention of passengers consistently.
Titty John, senior divisional finance manager, S Muralidharan, divisional electrical engineer, chief commercial inspectors, deputy station managers (Commercial) and approved canvassers attended the meeting.
