Special Camp for Southern Railway Pensioners for Smart Medical Card (UMID) Registration                                                                 

The medical department of Southern Railway is organizing a special Camp for pensioners to enable them register for UMID (Uniqe Medical Identity Card ) Smart Medical Cards.  The camp will be held from 8th April to 13th May 2022 at the New Radiology Block of Southern Railway Headquarters Hospital (Old Railway Hospital) at Perambur, Chennai.   

All the Pensioners who have not yet registered and initiated application o­n UMID portal are requested to attend the special camp for registration of their UMID application for generation of UMID Card.

Pensioners who are able to register o­n their own or with the help of others may register from their respective home place by visiting the website of UMID portal i.e. https://umid.digitalir.in/ 

As a ready reckoner, the following is the check list for mandatory fields and documents to be scanned in JPEG/JPG/PNG format for advanced preparedness to initiate UMID card application in a full-fledged manner.    

1.Individual Passport size photo  

2. Original PPO- 7th Pay commission                                 

3. Pension Slip from Bank                                                    

4. RELHS Book

5. Signature of the Pensioner

6.Aadhaar card

7. PAN Card

FAMILY-

1.Individual Passport size photo (Dependents)

2 Aadhaar card

3.PAN Card
