MORE ENTRY & EXIT GATES TO BE OPENED AT METRO STATIONS FROM 18.01.2021 (MONDAY)

Here is a good news for Metro commuters!

Starting Monday, 18.01.2021, it has been decided to open more Entry and Exit Gates at Metro stations for the convenience of commuters.

Five more Gates will be opened at different stations of North- South Metro from that date. 

At Central Station, Gate No: 5 will remain open for passenger's Entry. At Kalighat Station, Gate No: 4 & 5 will be opened for  Exit of the commuters and Gate No: 10 will be opened for their Entry .

At Rabindra Sarobar station Gate No:  4 will be opened for easy Exit of commuters.

At Park Street, commuters can use Gate No: 1 for both  Entry and Exit  instead of Exit o­nly from today itself i.e from 17.01.2021.

Similarly, at Chandni Chowk  station, commuters can now use Gate No: 1 for both Entry and Exit instead of Exit o­nly.

This step has been taken to facilitate commuters' movement to and from Metro Stations.

It may also be noted that Metro is going to run 240 daily services instead of 228 services from 18.01.2021(Monday) and  NO E- PASSES WILL BE REQUIRED FOR TRAVEL IN THE METRO.
