TRAFFIC BLOCK TO BE UNDERTAKEN BETWEEN DAHISAR AND MIRA ROAD STATIONS DURING MIDNIGHT OF 26TH/27TH SEPTEMBER, 2020
To carry out the girder launching work of 2A Metro line over the railway tracks, a traffic block of three and a half hours will be undertaken during the intervening night of 26th/27thSeptember, 2020 between DAHISAR & MIRA ROAD. The block will be from 00.15 hrs to 03.45 hrs on all the lines.
According to a press release issued by Shri Sumit Thakur - Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Rly, during the block period few special suburban services will be cancelled/ partially cancelled / changed in mode of services. The details of the same are as under:
CANCELLED SERVICES
1.Two suburban services from Virar to Borivali with scheduled departure at 22.30 hrs & 22.50 hrs will remain cancelled.
PARTIALLY CANCELLED SERVICES
1.Two suburban services from Churchgate to Virar with scheduled departure at 23.20 hrs & 23.30 hrs from Churchgate will run upto Borivali only and will remain cancelled between Borivali & Virar.
CHANGE IN MODE OF SERVICE
1.The last Virar FAST local train scheduled to depart from Churchgate at 23.00 hrs will run as SLOW service and will halt at all stations.
2.The last Virar SLOW local train scheduled to depart from Churchgate at 23.15 hrs will run as FAST service and will halt at Mumbai Central - Dadar – Bandra – Andheri – Borivali and thereafter halt at all stations.
