8 Additional Summer Special Trains by Central Railway CSMT - Gorakhpur and CSMT-Varanasi - Bookings open from 11.5.2019

8 Additional Summer Special Trains by Central Railway

Central Railway will run 8 more summer special trains to clear the extra rush of passengers during summer 2019. These special trains will run o­n special charges between Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus and Gorakhpur/ Varanasi. The details are as under:

1) Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus-Gorakhpur Weekly Specials (4 trips)

Train No. 02047 weekly special will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai at 16.40 hrs o­n Monday 13.5.2019 and 20.5.2019 (2 trips) and will arrive Gorakhpur at 23.45 hrs next day.

Train No. 02048 weekly special will leave Gorakhpur at 08.50 hrs o­n Wednesday 15.5.2019 and 22.5.2019 (2 trips) and will arrive Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai at 14.55 hrs next day.

Halts: Dadar, Kalyan, Igatpuri, Manmad, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Bhopal, Jhansi, Kanpur, Lucknow, Barabanki, Gonda and Basti

Composition: o­ne First AC, o­ne First AC cum AC2-tier, o­ne AC 2-tier cum AC 3-tier, 4 Sleeper Class and 10 General Second Class coaches.

2) Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus-Varanasi Superfast Weekly Specials (4 trips)

Train No. 02055 Superfast weekly special will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai at 05.00 hrs o­n Tuesday 14.5.2019 and 21.5.2019 (2 trips) and will arrive Varanasi at 07.30 hrs next day.

Train No. 02056 Superfast weekly special will leave Varanasi at 10.00 hrs o­n Wednesday 15.5.2019 and 22.5.2019 (2 trips) and will arrive Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai at 13.20 hrs next day.

Halts: Thane, Kalyan, Igatpuri, Nasik Road, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Manikpur and Allahabad Chheoki Jn.

Composition: 4 AC 3-tier, 12 Sleeper Class and 4 General Second Class coaches.

Reservation: Bookings for Train No. 02047 and 02055 special trains o­n special charges will commence from 11.5.2019at all PRS locations and o­n website www.irctc.co.in. 4 General second class coaches of Train No. 02047 will run as Reservedcoaches. Rest all General second class coaches of both the Summer Specials will run as unreserved coaches and can be booked through UTS system.
