A) Infrastructure Upgrade Block for cut and connection between Mumbraand Kalva on 14.10.2018
Central Railway will operate infrastructure upgrade block for cut and connection of existing Up slow line with the new released Dn slow line between Mumbra and Kalva stations for 5thand 6th line between Thane and Diva stations on Up slow line from 09.00 am to 06.00 pm on 14.10.2018. Last local before block on Up line will leave Diva at 08.30 am and Kalva at 08.40 am. Due to this work the train running pattern will be as under:-
Diversion of Up slow Suburban Services
Up slow / semi-fast line services leaving Diva from 09.07 am to 06.02 pm will be diverted on Up fast line at Diva and re-diverted on Up slow line at Mulund skipping halt at Mumbra and Kalva stations.
Passengers of Kalva and Mumbra stations are permitted to travel via Thane/Diva stations during block period.
Additional halts
DN fast/Semi fast line services leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus from 08.47 am to 04.45 pm will halt at Kurla, Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bhandup, Mulund and Diva stations in addition to their respective schedule halts and will run 20 minutes behind schedule.
UP fast/Semi fast line services leaving Kalyan from 08.23 am to 05.51 pm will halt at Diva, Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar, and Kurla stations in addition to their respective schedule halts and will run 15 minutes behind schedule.
All Dn and Up slow line services from 8.00 am to 7.00 pm will run 10 minutes behind schedule.
Due to this infrastructure block few services will remain cancelled howeverspecial services will be run between Thane and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus during the block period.
B) Harbour Line Mega Block on 14.10.2018
Central Railway will operate Mega Block on Harbour line for carrying out maintenance work on 14.10.2018
Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus – Chunabhatti /Bandra
Dn Harbour line from 11.40 am to 4.10 pm & Chunabhatti / Bandra - Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Up Harbour line from 11.10 am to 4.40 pm
Dn Harbour line services to Vashi / Belapur /Panvel leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai/Vadala Road from 11.34 am to 4.23 pm and
Dn Harbour line services to Bandra/Andheri/Goregaon leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus from 9.56 am to 4.16 pm will remain suspended.
Up Harbour line services for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai leaving Panvel/Belapur/Vashi from 9.53 am to 2.44 pm and
Up Harbour line services leaving Goregaon/ Andheri/Bandra from 10.45 am to 4.58 pm will remain suspended.
However, Special services will run between Panvel and Kurla (Platform No.8) during the block period.
Harbour line passengers are permitted to travel via Main Line and Western Railway from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm during block period.
Due to these blocks, suburban trains are likely to be more crowded than usual. Passengers are requested not to take any risks while travelling. They are also requested to avoid travelling on foot board, roof top of locals and not to board extremely over crowded trains. These special block are essential for infrastructure enhancement for passenger convenience and maintenance mega blocks are essential for infrastructure upkeep and safety.Passengers are requested to bear with the Railway Administration for the inconvenience caused.
