More Summer Specials -Eastern Railway 

·ER TO RUN 252 SUMMER SPECIALS CREATING OVER 2 LACS EXTRA BERTHS

Kolkata, March 19, 2018:

To clear the rush of passengers in the forthcoming Summer season, Eastern Railway will run 22 nos. of Summer special trains between Howrah & Jammu Tawi.

03051 Howrah – Jammu Tawi weekly Summer special (via Dankuni) will leave Howrah at 23.55 hrs o­n every Thursday between April 5 & May3, 2018   and reach Jammu Tawi at 13.20 hrs the third day. 03052 Jammu Tawi- Howrah  weekly Summer specials will leave Jammu Tawi at 20.10 hrs o­n every Saturday between April 7 & May5, 2018 and reach Howrah at 6.30 hrs the third day.

82303 Howrah – Jammu Tawi weekly Suvidha Summer special (via Dankuni) will leave Howrah at 23.55 hrs o­n every Thursday between   May10 & June 14, 2018   and reach Jammu Tawi at 13.20 hrs the third day. 82304 Jammu Tawi- Howrah  weekly Suvidha Summer specials will leave Jammu Tawi at 20.10 hrs o­n every Saturday between  May12 & June 16, 2018 and reach Howrah at 6.30 hrs the third day.

It may be mentioned that, besides these, Eastern Railway will run 230 Summer special trains during the ensuing Summer season o­n various routes viz., Kolkata - New Jalpaiguri, Kolkata – Lucknow, Kolkata- Chhapra- Asansol, Howrah-Raxaul- Asansol, Asansol-Patna , Malda- Haridwar, Sealdah – Anand Vihar , Bhagalpur – Muzaffarpur andHowrah & Muzaffarpur.

As a result of this , altogether 207912 nos. of berths & 9,504 nos. of seats have been generated to clear the summer rush.
