Partial Cancellation/Diversion/Regulation/Rescheduling of Trains Due to Mega Traffic Block for construction of Limited Height Subway Between Lalru-Dhappar on Ambala-Kalka Section of Ambala Division on Northern Railway
In order to strengthen the infrastructure of railways, Ambala Division of Northern Railway is taking Mega traffic block on 05.12.2017 during night from 08.20 p.m. to 06.15 a.m. of 06.12.2017 for construction of Limited Height Subway between Lalru-Dhappar on Ambala-Kalka Section of Northern Railway. As a result the following trains will be Partially Cancelled/Diverted/Regulated /Rescheduled on the section during the block as under:
Short termination / Short Origination of Trains
·The 54303 Delhi-Kalka Passenger Journey Commencing on 05.12.2017 will be short terminated at Ambala and will remain partially cancelled between Ambala-Kalka.
·The 54304 Kalka – Delhi Passenger Journey Commencing on 06.12.2017 will short originate from Ambala and will remain partially cancelled between Kalka- Ambala.
Diversion Of Trains During Block
vThe 12045 New Delhi-Chandigarh Shatabadi express journey commencing on 5.12.2017 will be diverted to run via Ambala-Sirhind-Morinda.
vThe 12311 Howrah-Kalka Mail journey commencing on 4.12.2017 will be diverted to run via Ambala-Sirhind-Morinda-Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar
vThe 12232 Chandigarh-Lucknow Express journey commencing on 5.12.2017 will be diverted to run via Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar Morinda –Sirhind.
vThe 14887 Kalka-Barmer Express journey commencing on 5.12.2017 will be diverted to run via Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar Morinda –Sirhind and will skip its sstoppage at Dhappar.
vThe 12312 Kalka- Howrah Mail journey commencing on 5.12.2017 will be diverted to run via Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar- Morinda –Sirhind .
Regulation of Trains
The 19717 Jaipur-Chandigarh Intercity Express journey commencing on 5.12.2017 will be regulated for 90 minutes enroute.
The 14888 Barmer-Kalka Express journey commencing on 5.12.2017 will be regulated for 80 minutes enroute.
Reschedulling of Trains
The 22452 Chandigarh-Bandra Terminus Superfast Express journey commencing on 6.12.2017 will be rescduled to depart from Chandigarh at 6.15 a.m. instead of 05.45 a.m.
