ADDITIONAL SABARI SPECIAL TRAINS
The following special trains will be run to clear the extra rush of traffic in view of Sabarimala festival.
1.Special fare special train from Chennai Central to Kollam
Train No.06045 Chennai Central – Kollam special fare special train will leave Chennai Central at 12.30 hrs. on Sundays from 19th November 2017 to 21stJanuary, 2018 and reach Kollam at 07.00 hrs. the next day.
Train No.06046 Kollam – Chennai Central special fare special train will leave Kollam at 14.45 hrs. on 20th, 27th November, 4th, 11th, 18th December 2017, 8th and 22ndJanuary 2018 (Mondays)and reach Chennai Central at 08.45 hrs the next day.
Composition:AC 3-tier – 2, Sleeper Class – 12, General Second Class – 2 & Luggage-cum-brake van – 2 coaches.
Stoppages:Arakkonam, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Palakkad, Thrisur, Aluva, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Tiruvalla, Chengannur and Kayankulam.
Train No. 06046 will stop at Perambur also.
2.Special fare special train from Chennai Central to Kollam
Train No.06051 Chennai Central – Kollam special fare special train will leave Chennai Central at 18.20 hrs. on Tuesdays from 21st November 2017 to 16th January, 2018 and reach Kollam at 11.00 hrs. the next day.
Train No.06052 Kollam – Chennai Central special fare special train will leave Kollam at 16.15 hrs. on Wednesdays from 22nd November, 2017 to 17th January, 2018 and reach Chennai Central at 08.30 hrs. the next day.
Composition:AC 3-tier – 2, Sleeper Class – 12, General Second Class – 2 & Luggage-cum-brake van – 2 coaches.
