FIRST AID TRAINING CAMP ORGANISED BY METRO RAILWAY SCOUTS

Kolkata, 19th May, 2017.

A first Aid Training Camp wherein the training imparted by St. John Ambulance Brigade of South Eastern Railway was organised by Bharat Scouts and Guide, Metro Railway District Association i n Metro Railway on 19.05.2017.

The camp was inaugurated by Shri Vishwesh Chaubey, General Manager, Metro Railway, Kolkata cum patron in chief of Bharat Scouts & Guides, Metro Railway, Kolkata and he delivered valuable lecture on the necessity of the First Aid Training.

Shri S.K. Das, Chief Operations Manager of Metro Railway cum President(Scouts), Dr. M.K. Chowdhury, Chief Medical Supertiendant Metro Railway, Kolkata, Shri Protyush Kumar Ghosh, Dy. General Manager(G) –cum- District Commissioner(Scouts) and other officers and staff were present in the camp.

From trainer’s side, there were Dr. S. Dasgupta, Assistant Commissioner (G) of St John. Ambulance Brigae and Chief Anaesthesiologist/South Eastern Railway and Shri T.K. Bal, Assistant Commissioner (Training) –cum-Lecturer (First Aid) of St. John Ambulance Brigade present in the camp. 70 nos. Of trainees were imparted training in this camp.

By attending this training camp, Staff and officers were sensitised over the utility and necessity of First Aid as an instant remedy in case of sudden accident.
