SOUTHERN RAILWAY LATEST NEWS ABOUT TRAIN DIVERSION,ADDITIONAL COACHES,EXTENSION OF STOPPAGE 

DIVERSION OF TRAINS

Due to engineering works between Mohol – Vakav railway stations in Solapur Division of Central Railway, the following trains will run on diverted route as detailed below.
1. Train No.12164 Chennai Egmore – Dadar Express leaving Chennai Egmore on 03rd& 04th February, 2017 will be diverted to run via Guntakal, Bellary, Gadag, Miraj and Pune.
2. Train No.16614 Coimbatore – Rajkot Express leaving Coimbatore on 02nd February, 2017 will be diverted to run via Guntakal, Bellary, Gadag, Miraj and Pune.
3. Train No.16382 Kanniyakumari – Mumbai CST Express leaving Kanniyakumari on 02nd& 03rd February, 2017 will be diverted to run via Guntakal, Bellary, Gadag, Miraj and Pune.

TEMPORARY AUGMENTATION OF TRAINS

• Train No.19568 / 19567 Okha – Tuticorin – Okha Vivek Express trains will be temporarily augmented by one AC 3-tier coach ex Okha on 02nd, 09th, 16th & 23rd February, 2017 and ex Tuticorin on 05th, 12th, 19th& 26th February, 2017.

EXTENSION OF EXPERIMENTAL STOPPAGE FOR TRAINS AT PAPANASAM

Experimental stoppage has been provided for Train No.12083 / 12084 Mayiladuthurai – Coimbatore – Mayiladuthurai Jan Shatabdi Express Trains and for Train No.16779 / 16780 Tirupati – Rameswaram – Tirupati Express Trains at Papanasam upto 04.02.2017.
The experimental stoppage provided for these trains at Papanasam has been extended for a further period of six months upto 04.08.2017.
