EASTERN RAILWAY TO RUN SPECIAL TRAINS FOR SHRAVANI MELA AT BAIDYANATHDHAM

Kolkata, July 21, 2015:

To coup with the expected rush of passengers during Shravani Mela at Baidyanathdham, Eastern Railway will run 40 pairs of Shravani Mela Special trains between Tatanagar & Jasidih and Asansol & Patna between August 1 and 31, 2015.

Out of these Shravani Mela Special trains, 22 pairs of trains will run between Tatanagar & Jasidih and 18 pairs of Special trains will run between Asansol & Patna. The Shravani Mela Special trains will have General Second Class / non-AC Reserved accommodation.

Apart from these, o­ne pair of MEMU Special will run between Asansol & Jasidih, 4 pairs of Shravani Mela Special passenger trains will run between Jasidih & Baidyanathdham and 1 pair of Passenger Special trains will run between Jasidih and Dumka.

Danapur-Sahibganj Intercity Express (13235/13236) and Bhagalpur-Danapur Intercity Express (13401/13402) will run o­n Sundays also as special train in this period.

Moreover 6 pairs of Mail/Express trains will have additional stoppage at Sultanganj while duration of halt of all Mail/Express trains at Jasidih will be increased temporarily by 3 minutes in Up direction except Rajdhani Express (12305), Poorva Express (12303) and Janshatabdi Express (12023).
