NON-INTERLOCKED WORKING AT PALWAL STATION YARD FROM 31.8.2015 To 6.9.2015

INCONNECTION WITH CONSTRUCTION OF FOURTH LINE BETWEEN TUGHLAKABAD(JUNCTION CABIN) AND PALWAL TO EASE TRAFFIC CONGESTION BETWEEN DELHI AND MATHURA

CANCELLATION/DIVERSION OF TRAINS RUNNING o­n THE SECTION DUE TO SCHEDULED NON INTERLOCKING WORK FROM 31.8.2015 TO 6.9.2015

Northern Railway will undertake the Non- Interlocking working at Palwal station Yard from 31.8.2015 to 6.9.2015 in connection with construction of a Fourth Line between Tughlakabad(Junction Cabin) and Palwal. The construction of this Fourth Line is primarily aimed to ease bottlenecks for rail traffic flow between Delhi and Mathura and involves up-gradation of traffic facilities and yard re modelling facilities to enable higher operational capabilities and flexibility. Apart from provision of new signalling panels at Palwal and Asauti stations to be housed in new panel buildings at these stations, the other enhancement works includes increase in length of different lines with higher clear standing rooms  and provision of shunting necks to allow shunting to take place clear of main lines and thereby reduce time lags and enable operational ease.

Owing to the above works, there will be power & traffic blocks from 31.8.2015 to 07.9.2015. As a result the following trains will remain cancelled /diverted as under:

Cancellation Of Express Trains on 31.08.2015

·The 13007 Howrah- Shriganganagar Udyan Abha Toofan express & 16687 Mangalore- Jammu Tawi Navyug express trains will remain cancelled on 31.08.2015.

Cancellation Of Express Trains on 01.09.2015

· The 12549 Durg- Jammu Tawi Superfast express, 19019/29019 Bandra T.- Dehradun express, 11449 Jabalpur- Jammu Tawi express, 12629 Yashwantpur- Hazrat Nizamuddin Sampark Kranti express & 13007 Howrah- Shriganganagar Udyan Abha Toofan express trains will remain cancelled on 01.09.2015.
