Kolkata Metro plans Special Services during ‘Vijaya Dasami’
Kolkata (KOAA): Metro Railway, Kolkata has arranged special Metro services, this year, during Durga Puja days. Total 544 services will be available in between Kavi Subhash – Dum Dum and 206 services in between Dum Dum – Noapara during the period of Puja Days i.e. from Saptami to Navami & Dashami.
On the days of Saptami, Ashtami, Navami & Dashami the first Metro will start at 13.40 hrs and the last Metro at 4.00 hrs (next day) from the terminating stations.
On the day of Saptami, total 160 Metros will run in between Kavi Subhash – Dum Dum and 66 Metros in between Dum Dum – Noapara.
However, on each day of Ashtami and Nabami & Dashami, 192 Metros will run in between Kavi Subhash – Dum Dum and 70 Metros in between Dum Dum – Noapara.
On the day of Saptami, frequency of services will be 8 minutes, 10 minutes and 15 minutes. On the days of Ashtami, Navami & Dashami, frequency of services will be 7 minutes minimum and 15 minutes maximum.
