Derailment of Goods Train at Karanjadi on Konkan Railway on 24.8.2014

DERAILMENT OF GOODS TRAIN AT KARANJADI o­n KONKAN RAILWAY  o­n 24.8.2014 

7 Wagons of a goods train derailed (out of which 4 capsized) at Karanjadi railway station (about 205 km from Mumbai) o­n Konkan Railway at 6.28 am o­n 24.8.2014 resulting in disruption of train service o­n this section. 

Accident Relief Train from Kurla and Konkan Railway have left for the site for restoration of traffic.

Train services via this section is likely to be diverted and or cancelled due to this derailment, details of which will be advised as and when received.
